Write an essay(at least 600 words) to compare and contrast NBC Today and NBC Nightly News aired on Oct. 14th, with the help of mass communication models. Make sure your essay has a clear thesis(purpose) and structure, as well as appropriate wording and criteria.

Structure:

Introduction: This introduces the two shows and their significance. There should be a thesis statement and the reasons why you are making the compare /contrast statements.

Body: These paragraphs develop the analysis by incorporating 1 or 2 similarities and 1 or 2 differences using the selection and arrangement of news stories, the anchors, and other news shows elements to support your reasons. You may also include details from either or both selections.

Conclusion: This paragraph summarized the main points and re-states the thesis statement with a resolution or any other closing strategies.

Grading:

I'll use compare and contrast rubrics as a reference but also take into account your application of mass communication models, your use of broadcast news terms, and your English writing skills into consideration.
