Instructions
There will be 6 multiple-choice questions or blank-filling questions(very few) and 1 open-ended question(writing task).
The first 4 will check your vocab and grammar (vocab bank and grammar practice), and another 2 questions will be about the content of the stories in the Joy Luck Club, while the last writing task aims to test your writing skills as well as an in-depth understanding of the text(at least 300 words).
You cannot use any dictionary or apps like Grammarly during the quiz and must stay on the quiz page till the end of the quiz. The only thing you can use is your paper book, so the notes you've taken will also help you in the quiz, but please be aware that you can only use the paper book for the last writing task, not the first 6 questions.
The first 6 questions will account for 30 points in total, with another 30 points for the writing task. If you are not familiar with IELTS/TOEFL writing rubrics, you can go to "Files" to download the documents.
