PA: Narrative Writing (Personal Identity)

Write a short story (600-800words) focusing on your personal identity.

Guiding questions:

How does your family influence your identity?

What major events stand out in your path to understanding who you are?

Who has played a role in shaping your identity?

What makes you a unique individual?

(Be aware your task is not to answer all of the above questions, but to write a story about yourself.)

Rubrics:

In grading this assignment, I'll also consider your overall ability to use English in writing, so please try to limit grammatical and lexical errors!

(FYI: Narrative elements basically include plot, characters, point of view, setting, theme, conflict, and style.)

Submission:

Please download a file named "Narrative Writing Format" from Canvas, and follow the format. 

Submit the final PDF document before Sunday 10 p.m.

(For those who were in my class last year and other ELA2/3 classes,  you should be quite familiar with ideas like POV and character development, but if you are new here with little knowledge of these literary elements, feel free to contact me for help! )
